1st National Conference of the Portuguese Association for Science Management
FONDA is proud to support a pioneering event in Portugal!
We are thrilled to announce the 1st National Conference of the Portuguese Association for Science Management, taking place on October 8th, 2025 at the University of Aveiro.
This landmark event will not only mark the official launch of the new association representing professionals in the field of science, technology, and innovation management across Portugal, but also serve as a pioneering milestone for the national science management community.
What to expect
The conference will bring together science management professionals, researchers, institutional representatives, and policy makers for a full day of dialogue, reflection, and collaborative building.
Our goals include:
- Officially presenting the Association and its mission, vision, and values
- Strengthening the identity and strategic role of science managers in research institutions
- Creating opportunities for networking and communities of practice
- Sharing experiences, challenges, and opportunities for action nationwide
- Debating future changes in science, innovation, and funding policies
Venue: Amphitheatre of the Department of Environment and Planning (DAO), University of Aveiro, Portugal
Registration
Registration fee: 16€ (includes conference materials, coffee breaks, and lunch)
